Pain is multifaceted and depends on many factors, such as a lack of mobility and/or stability, learned patterns, sports and accident injuries, stress, fascial structures, possible misalignments and incorrect loads in joints, tension, diet and stress or due to hormonal changes and much more.

Many therapeutic approaches work with one of these fields, but usually do not have a holistic view of the cause of pain, especially when it comes to chronic pain patients .

I worked for many years as a professional partner acrobat, stunt rigger and choreographer and have increasingly switched to teaching. I was head of the New Circus department at two schools in Denmark. In my years as a teacher and trainer, I had to ask myself time and again why some students were able to make rapid progress and others only small progress. Why were some of the students injured more often than others?

Did this have something to do with my teaching method or was it due to the physical conditions of the students?

Communication, dysfunctions, physical prerequisites and previous experience play a major role here. However, how I teach and how I communicate, what a movement pattern should look like, played a greater role than physical prerequisites.

However, the biggest factors were: breathing, neuronal tension and dysfunctional asymmetries.

Over the last 15 years, I have gradually developed my own techniques and methods to better understand these asymmetries of the body, make biomechanical posture corrections, recognize early injury risks and reduce them. In Berlin, I am the pioneer in this particular field.

The result:
Kraft Reha – Somatic Restoration

The Art of Restoring Movement

Prevention

Stability and mobility are heavily dependent on our breathing. Breathing also controls our emotions, stress, sleep and metabolism. This is why breathing is one of the cornerstones of Kraft Reha Somatic Restoration.

Therapy

Neuronal tension can have a wide variety of effects on muscles, muscle strength, mobility, joint position and much more. It is therefore important to check these and adjust them through therapy.

Training

No human being is symmetrical. However, the joint positions determine the muscle activity, i.e. a changed joint position in the hip or chest, for example, has a major influence on muscle tension and movement sequences. This can be positively influenced by targeted functional training.

My task and work as a sports and respiratory therapist include the following elements:

The first step is always a thorough medical history. Together we will go through the problems, pain and motivations that you have as a patient and that bring you to me.

This is followed by a movement analysis in which we examine your movement structures and sequences, breathing patterns and gait together in order to identify possible imbalances, asymmetries in the body and movement patterns.

Then the real work begins to help you out of pain or tension. We permanently change your movement patterns and asymmetries in the body.

Every person is different and therefore has different prerequisites and movement structures. That is why we work with a customized approach every time.

After 10 years of intensive work with my body, I finally went to Frank. In just a few sessions, he changed and improved my body awareness and my training from the ground up! His methods and exercises have helped me to improve my handstand and gymnastics training and at the same time completely get rid of tension in my neck. I can really only warmly recommend each of you to go to Frank as early as possible, get to know his techniques and thus prevent pain and problems in the long term. I wish I had done it a few years earlier.

I am so grateful that I got to know Frank. After injuring myself while training for a half marathon, I scheduled a few training sessions to work through the injury and hopefully be able to run more sustainably again. From our first meeting, he was incredibly engaged and comprehensive, uncovering fundamental issues that I hadn't even considered. I learned a lot (agility, breathing, form, etc.), followed clear actionable advice, and after following his guidance, I was able to run the race a few months later. He's also just a really nice guy!

Frank is absolutely amazing. As a professional dancer and yoga teacher who basically spent all her life with movement, i was a bit upset to see my lack of knowledge about my own body and was amazed by his movement analysis. He helped me to see clearly what i was compensating while dancing which pushed me to work on myself in a more conscious way, creating great awareness. I am stronger, more flexible and have more power then ever now although i am 46 Frank is absolutely amazing. Since I've been working with Frank, I've become much more aware and sensible with my body. Thanks to his therapy, I have gradually developed a routine that enables me to discover imbalances, work on them myself and, above all, avoid them through continuous and targeted training. Frank has a great ability to put things in the right words and not only gives you the recipe, but also ensures that there is mutual understanding. Absolutely recommendable.

Frank is able to recognize my true weaknesses and the cause of my problems, and gives me exercises at the level that will help me in my particular situation. As a professional artist, Frank helps me to work holistically on often long-standing compensatory habits and imbalances, and to maintain and expand my resilience and performance.

The precision and holistic approach with which Frank works is extraordinary and his expertise is hard to beat. I had chronic pain for five years and no doctor or physiotherapist was able to get to the heart of the cause or diagnose it, let alone treat it accordingly. Frank was able to pinpoint the cause of my pain with his detailed body analysis and, with a thorough therapy that also took my personality and life circumstances into account, stabilized my body in such a way that I am now pain-free and my back is more stable and resilient than ever before. I rarely recommend professionals to other people, but I always do with Frank.

My husband and I are professional acrobatics partner and have been intensively training for mostly all our lives. In the past few years we have been seeing specialist in order too help us with injuries or just to maintain a great body health. In 2018 we have been lucky to find Frank Kraft and he has helped us a lot since, with our bodys posture with feedbacks directly in connection with our jobs. My husband had a previous shoulder problem and Frank has been a great help to improve mobility, stability and strength in a healthy way. He knows how the body is functioning in very deep and precise ways.

After years of injuries and pain, I met Frank by chance.
Over the last few years I have been lucky enough to have many in-depth sessions with him, working on better breathing, good movement patterns, strength and flexibility and much more.
I have now found a new respect and understanding for my body. And the most important thing: the knowledge that my body can heal.

If you are in pain and can no longer do the things you love, Frank is your man.

Thank you for your support and this life-changing experience!
See you soon in Berlin.

For me though, the magic really happened with Frank. The man is a magician. Now after a solid few months, it honestly feels like I have a new body. My posture, my mobility, my connectedness and overall understanding of my body and movements, I can't begin to explain. I've looked forward to my mobility sessions every week. Highly recommended. Take care of yourself, you deserve it.
